• I will also grade your Quiz 6 on Monday night and give it back to you on Tuesday, which is our last class date.

Team HW 6: #3 and #4

Exam 3 information (again, 8 AM!)

1. Chapters covered are on the course website.
2. 2/3 will be on material after Exam 2 (Taylor series /pdf, cdf / differential equations), while 1/3 will be on the previous material including:

• integrals
• sequence and series
• FTC 1, FTC 2
• other topics covered for Exam 1 and Exam 2.

3. L'Hopital's rule is not required, but I recommend you to know it.

4. Maclaurin series means that Taylor series with center $0.$

5. The formula page will be provided, and it can be removed so that the student can look at it in a handy dandy manner. This includes the usual series expansions and the pdf for the normal distribution with the mean $\mu$ and the standard deviation $\sigma$.

6. There will be at least one Team HW related problems.

7. $3 \times 5$ square-inch note card can be accompanied with the student.

8. There will be about 10 questions total, and the exam time will be 2 hours.

Section component grading

• None of you will be bumped down
• A small portion of you who have done extremely well for Quizzes and Team HW's will get bonus points, which will positively affect the grade, but I cannot tell you who and how many. I can promise you that I have recorded everything on Canvas so that this procedure is fair based on numerical evidence.
• Any student who already get A resulting from all three Exams will not get the bonus points.
